Waterfront Cottage on Lake Eugenia:

'This spot is lovely! We loved that the site was so treed and natural and that there were so many places to sit and enjoy a different vantage point of the lake. There's a perfect little bonus deck to enjoy the sunrise and a charming firepit with a lake view. The dock has lots of seating, a huge umbrella for shade, and a floating lily pad that the kids enjoyed very much! The hot tub off the main deck was amazing and had a gorgeous lake view as well.
We loved that the host provided kayaks and a canoe, that was so awesome. We enjoyed a trip every day!
The cottage itself was charming and it was nice to have the added comforts (dishwasher, hot tub, washer/dryer available). The bedrooms are all partially below grade but comfort is managed well with a dehumidifier and fans.'

'Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely updated farmhouse. Enjoyed the spectacular views of the sunrise looking across pretty pasture towards the Escarpment. Clean well appointed home. Lots of space for everyone. Pristinely clean In-ground pool with beautiful views over the meadows. Particularly lovely fire pit in lush setting. Thank you for the lovely stay.'

Historic Gem in downtown Meaford:

'Paula & Chris’ century home in Meaford was beautiful. We enjoyed our second visit just as much as the first! The home is true to the pictures on the listing (even better in person). It is an inviting, clean and well cared for home with so much space! The dining room provided a gorgeous setting for our Thanksgiving dinner. Bedrooms were well appointed and cozy. Everything we needed was there (including everything from dishes, cooking utensils to bed linens and towels). There are games and books available for rainy days or quiet afternoons. Paula & Chris are very responsive, answering any questions both before and during our stay.
Meaford is a pretty little town with a grocery store, restaurants/cafes, shops & LCBO. Nearby Thornbury is also fun to explore. Collingwood/Blue Mountain is about a 25 minute drive down picturesque Hwy 26.
Paula & Chris’ place is definitely worth visiting! We hope to return!'
